🌿 A Sustainable Sanctuary

Here at Coodlie Park, sustainability isn’t just a value, it’s a way of life. We proudly operate Camp Coodlie on solar energy, use rainwater harvesting systems, compost toilets, and build with repurposed oyster timber and other reusable materials, every decision is made with care in mind to reduce our ecological footprint. You will find a Compost Bin at the Camp Kitchen and Recycle Bins scattered around the park for your convenience, and please Remember to Reduce, Reuse or Recycle your waste.

Our eco-cottages also follow similar suit but accommodates the creature comforts of home with satellite tv, complimentary WIFI, tea, coffee, hot cocoa, a fully self contained kitchen, eco-friendly amenities, and complimentary snacks.

We are also passionate advocates for Astro-Protection, promoting dark sky preservation and raising awareness of the impacts of artificial light on humans and wildlife. Keeping the park dark relies on minimal light usage so if you don't need it, please switch it off, and take a moment to enjoy the clear dark night skies and the billions of stars above.
 

As a Bortle Class 1 Dark Sky location, we offer some of the best stargazing opportunities in the country making Coodlie  Park a true Regenerative Astrotourism Destination.
